In order to be successful in the online degree plans at UTRGV there are a few things that you need to have. The first thing that is required is a headphone/microphone combination. This will be useful in all of your classes and will allow minimal background noise during online meetings in your classes. The second item that you need to have is a web camera. Most computers have this built in already, but you also have to know how to use it and be able to turn it on if your instructor requires you to use it in class. The last thing that you need to do for your online classes is to email your instructors about when their class meeting times are. This is important to figure out because when you sign up for classes you may not know on what days each class meets.
